Book Elusive Prey (The World Book 7) Review :

I will preface this review by saying that I never give one-star reviews because I don't feel that art should be judged so harshly, but this one came close. This installment was so irritating to read that it left me angry when I finished, which was very surprising since this has been one of my favorite series for the last while. But the author goes off script here and continuously bounces from one pov to the next every few pages it seems; it makes the book nearly unreadable. I hate this new format the author is using, and I don't give a $h1t about the other points of view; I read this book for the MC, not the others. I am not totally against having a few different POVs in a book, but they need to interludes that are far and few between and take a noticeable back seat to the MC in page time, they should not happen every single chapter. I understand the author wanting to give a broader picture of what the other character groups are doing, but this was ridiculous. I will not buy the next book.
7 books in and my desire for more of Star and his adventures has only increased. I love this series and although not a lot of time passed in the story again, it definitely has not mattered as the sheer amount of contend and detail more than made up for how it only covers a 24 hour period. Although these books don't usually end on a cliffhanger (thank you) they still end in a way that leaves me burning for the next book. Please hurry and release the next one lol
